ABOUT US
Vada's Angels Animal Rescue is a registered charity run by a small team of dedicated volunteers. We are foster based and rely on the generosity of our community to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome animals in need across the Bay of Plenty and New Zealand.โ
โ
Every animal deserves a second chance at a happy life.
WHAT WE DO FOR THE COMMUNITY
Keep Pets in Loving Homes
We provide support, resources and assistance to help families facing hardship keep their pets where they belong – at home with the people who love them.
โโ
Reduce Overpopulation
Through community desexing support and education, we help reduce unwanted litters and ease the pressure on shelters, pounds and rescue organisations.
โ
Provide Education & Resources
We promote responsible pet ownership by sharing practical advice, training information and resources that help pets and their owners thrive.
โ
Emergency Assistance
When families experience unexpected hardship, we provide food, supplies and support to help ensure pets remain safe, healthy and cared for.
โ
Build a Compassionate Community
By working alongside local businesses, veterinarians, volunteers and supporters, we create stronger communities where both animals and people can flourish.

WHY IT MATTERS
Every animal deserves the chance to live a safe, healthy and happy life.
By supporting pet owners before a crisis occurs, we can prevent animals from entering the rescue system and keep more pets with the families who love them. Our community programs help reduce surrender rates, encourage responsible pet ownership and create better outcomes for animals across New Zealand.
Together, we are not only changing the lives of individual animals — we are building a stronger, kinder community for pets and people alike.
