Hi, I’m Sarge 🖤
I’m a confident, outgoing and ridiculously social guy with an exceptional personality and a real willingness to listen and learn.
My absolute favourite thing? Other dogs.
Playing with them, running with them, wrestling with them, hanging out with them… if another dog is involved, you can pretty safely assume I’m interested.
I’m also a confident little character out in the world. New environments don’t bother me, loud noises don’t faze me and I’m friendly and excited to meet new people.
There is, however, one small detail we should probably discuss.
I am an escape artist. 🥷
And not in a “whoops, someone left the gate open” kind of way.
I have been known to actively investigate alternative ways of leaving the premises, so my future home will need excellent secure fencing and humans willing to stay one step ahead of me.
Basically, there’s a pretty clever brain hiding inside this enormous head. 😂

🎓 My Training Journey
I’ve made excellent progress since coming into care and I’m a boy who genuinely wants to engage and learn.
✔ Very comfortable in my crate
✔ Sleeps happily in my crate
✔ Good recall most of the time in secure areas
✔ Motivated by praise, affection and play
I’m still working on my toilet training, so my future family will need to continue helping me get that completely sorted.
I can also become anxious when left alone, which can result barking. Having another dog for company is important for me, and I’ll need a home where I’m not regularly expected to spend long stretches completely by myself.
