If you've ever wondered what happens when you combine a puppy, a baby giraffe and an old man who snores... meet Mischief.


Mischief is a happy, confident Staffy x American Bulldog puppy with long legs he hasn't quite figured out, a love of anything comfortable and a personality that makes him very easy to fall for.

He's playful, social and full of puppy energy, but he's also a massive fan of the good life. Mischief currently sleeps with his foster brother, loves a couch or bed and, once he's asleep, snores like an old man.

More than anything, Mischief wants to be part of the family. He's affectionate, loves being around people and has settled beautifully into a busy foster home.

LIFE WITH MISCHIEF
Mischief is confident in new environments and loves meeting people. He regularly visits school, where he's more than happy to collect pats, although he can initially be a little cautious with unfamiliar people before quickly settling.

He's fantastic with children and absolutely loves other dogs. His foster family's older dogs have become some of his favourite companions, and if Mischief had his way, he'd probably sit directly on top of them all day.

He's also living safely around cats. His puppy chase instinct occasionally kicks in, particularly with the older cat, but he's learning the rules and enjoys playing with the kitten.

Mischief travels well, generally walks nicely on lead and is very food motivated. He already knows sit, drop and his name, and his next challenge is mastering the very difficult puppy concept of "wait".

He's still working on his toilet training and has occasional accidents inside, so his new family will need to continue helping him get that completely nailed.

MISCHIEF'S PERFECT HOME
Mischief would love an active family who want their dog right in the middle of everyday life.

As a young Staffy x American Bulldog, he's likely to grow into a strong, solid boy, so continuing his training and good manners while he's young will be important.

He'd happily share his home with children and could really enjoy having another friendly dog around.

But there's one important requirement...

Mischief wants to be an inside dog.

Preferably on your couch.

Possibly in your bed.

And definitely wherever his humans are.

A FEW THINGS TO KNOW
Mischief can be alert to unfamiliar noises or people entering the home and may bark if someone appears unexpectedly, particularly at night.

He's also still very much a puppy. There are toilet-training accidents, shoes and slippers are fascinating, and those ridiculously long legs occasionally seem to operate independently of the rest of him.

So far, however, the shoes have survived!

MISCHIEF'S FUTURE
Mischief isn't looking for somewhere to simply live.

He's looking for a family whose couch he can steal, kids he can grow up alongside and people who'll make him part of everything.

Add in those baby-giraffe legs and old-man snoring, and we think someone's going to get a pretty special best mate. 💜
