Hi, I’m Flirt 💜
I’m a confident, outgoing and energetic girl with a huge love for life... And I mean HUGE. Walks, swimming, fetch, training, exploring, playing with other dogs, zooming around outside; if there’s something fun happening, I would very much like to be involved.
I’m an active girl who needs plenty of exercise, but I’m not all go, go, go. I’m also incredibly affectionate and love being close to my people for cuddles and attention. My foster family says you simply can’t help but love me because I’m always so happy. Honestly, I think that’s a fairly glowing review. 😂

Adults: Very friendly, social and affectionate
Kids: Best suited to children aged 10 years or older. Greetings I can be a bit excitable.
Dogs: Social and playful, although I can become overexcited during greetings and play
Resident Dogs: I could potentially live with another compatible dog, but careful matching will be important. I may not be suited to living with a dominant female dog
Cats: I’m very curious about cats and would chase if allowed. I respond to a firm “leave it,” but a cat-free home may be the safest option
Livestock: Considered suitable, with appropriate introductions and supervision

I can become overexcited around other dogs, particularly during on-lead greetings, so I’ll need continued guidance to help me practise calmer introductions.
I also currently guard my food. This will need to be carefully managed and worked on through positive training, especially if I’m living with another dog.
I’ve already made excellent progress in foster care, and with consistency, structure and plenty of positive reinforcement, I’ll continue going from strength to strength.
