🐶 About Me
Hi, I’m Remi 💜
I’m a friendly, affectionate and very smart little guy with a lovely balance of playful puppy energy and calm, laid-back cuddles.
I love playing fetch, exploring, investigating new things and having fun with other dogs. Once the adventures are over, I’m equally happy settling down beside my people for plenty of cuddles and kisses.
I love being close to my humans, but when it’s time to sleep, I prefer the end of the bed, or anywhere else I can stretch out and take up a completely unreasonable amount of space for someone my size.
My confidence has grown enormously since coming into care. I can still be slightly nervous in unfamiliar environments and cautious around new people, but it’s manageable, and I continue to get braver with calm encouragement.
I’m also an incredibly loyal and loving boy. I’m naturally alert and will let you know when something unfamiliar is happening, so I already take my role as junior household security very seriously.

I’m a puppy who likes to chew, so I’ll need appropriate toys, supervision and help learning what belongs to me.
I’m also a talented climber, which means secure fencing will be very important.
I’m clever enough to know when I’m in trouble. Whether that knowledge stops me from making the same questionable decision again is another matter entirely. Continued supervision and consistent training will help me learn how to use that impressive brain for good!
Although my recall is going really well, I’m still a young puppy. I’ll need to stay on lead or within securely fenced areas while it continues to strengthen around distractions.
I can occasionally become mildly protective of a favourite sleeping spot or person. My future family will need to continue working on this with calm, consistent boundaries and positive training, particularly as I grow into a big boy.
