Pippa is playful, affectionate and just a little bit clingy, in the very best way.

She’s a clever, social girl who loves being part of whatever is happening and is particularly happy when there’s another dog involved. She absolutely thrives on canine company and has had some great supervised playdates.

Her confidence has grown enormously since coming into care. She can still be a little unsure at times, but with a confident dog beside her and some encouragement from her humans, she’s getting braver all the time.

🏡 Living With Pippa

Pippa has settled into a good, predictable routine and is fully toilet trained.

She’s playful and energetic when it’s time for fun, but is equally happy settling inside afterwards for a cuddle — preferably as close to you as physically possible.

She can become anxious when left completely alone, so she wouldn’t suit a home where everyone is away for long days. She’ll need a family willing to continue helping her build confidence and independence at her own pace.

💜 Pippa’s Perfect Home

Pippa would love a home with another confident, friendly dog. Having a canine buddy gives her companionship, someone to play with and a little extra reassurance when she needs it.

Her ideal family will be active, patient and committed to continuing her training as she grows.

Secure fencing is important, and she’d be best suited to a home where someone is around regularly rather than being left alone for extended periods.

Her recall is already excellent in secure areas, and she picks up new things quickly with food, praise and affection as motivation.

🐶 Compatibility

Dogs: Absolutely. Pippa is very social and playful, and another confident dog in her forever home would be ideal.

Children: She has been calm around children so far, but we’re still learning more about how she interacts with them.

Cats & small animals: Pippa has shown a high level of interest and chasing behaviour, so she is unlikely to be suitable for a home with cats or small animals.

🐾 A Few Things to Know

Pippa is still a young dog, so there’s plenty of learning and growing ahead.

She’ll need ongoing training, help building her independence and a family who understands that confidence doesn’t happen overnight.

She’s also very people-oriented. If you were hoping to go to the bathroom alone ever again… Pippa may have other plans.

With consistency, another dog by her side and humans who continue encouraging her confidence, we think she’ll grow into an incredibly loyal and loving companion.
