Hiccup

READY FOR ADOPTION

Hi, I'm Hiccup ๐Ÿ’™

I've got three legs, a permanent smile, and absolutely no idea that I'm supposed to be any different from other dogs.

When I first arrived in rescue, it was obvious something wasn't right with one of my back legs. Despite being sore, uncomfortable, and carrying injuries that had clearly been there for quite some time, I still greeted everyone with a wagging tail and a happy attitude.

Further veterinary investigations revealed the extent of the damage. X-rays showed a dislocated knee, a fracture through the knee itself, and another break further up the leg. The injuries were old and had caused significant ligament and muscle damage, leaving very little chance of restoring comfortable function.

After careful consideration, the decision was made to amputate my leg and give me the chance to live pain-free.

And honestly? You'd never know I'm missing one. ๐Ÿพ

Since my surgery, I've absolutely thrived in foster care. I'm fast, playful, confident, and full of life. In fact, I'm fairly certain I can outrun most dogs with four legs. ๐Ÿ’จ๐Ÿ˜‚

I'm friendly with everyone I meet, love being involved in family life, and am always ready to see what's happening next. Whether it's heading out on an adventure or curling up at home afterwards, I'm just happy to be included.

Despite everything he's been through, he has remained happy, trusting, affectionate, and full of joy. He approaches life with enthusiasm, greets every day with a wagging tail, and doesn't spend a second feeling sorry for himself.

If you're looking for a resilient little legend, a family companion, a sporting sideline supporter, and an all-round wonderful dog, Hiccup might just be your perfect match. ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ’™
