MEET BEAR

Bear is a lovable young boy with a playful side, a growing confidence and plenty of affection to hand out once he's comfortable with you.
He's a lovely mixture of fun and laid-back. He enjoys playing with other dogs, exploring and chasing after a game of fetch, but he's equally fond of finding somewhere comfortable and being close to his humans.
Bear can initially be a little unsure of unfamiliar people or new situations, but give him some time to take everything in and his confidence starts to shine through.

LIFE WITH BEAR

Bear has settled nicely into foster life and enjoys a predictable routine.
He's medium energy and social with other dogs, although he can get a little overexcited when there's someone fun to play with. He travels well in the car, is comfortable with handling and settles happily when left alone. Pasted markdown
He's food motivated and currently learning his basic training. Bear isn't the fastest student in the classroom just yet, but he's improving, and we're sure the right supply of snacks will help!
Toilet training is also still a work in progress, so his family will need to continue patiently reinforcing good habits.

BEAR'S PERFECT HOME

Bear could suit several different lifestyles, from a suburban family to somewhere with a little more space.
What matters most is finding people who enjoy having an affectionate dog involved in everyday life and who are committed to continuing his training.
Bear is going to grow into a big dog, so good manners and consistent boundaries need to start now rather than waiting until he's fully grown.
Another suitable dog could be a lovely companion, and a home with a dog-savvy cat may also be possible with appropriate introductions.

A FEW THINGS TO KNOW

Bear is still very much learning how the world works.
His toilet training needs more work, his recall isn't reliable yet and he can occasionally test boundaries, so his new family shouldn't expect a finished product.
What they'll get instead is the opportunity to help shape a lovable young dog into a pretty wonderful adult.

BEAR'S FUTURE

Bear has plenty of growing and learning ahead of him.
Luckily, he's also got plenty of cuddles to hand out along the way.
All he needs now is a family willing to do the growing up part with him.
